Open Call for Abstract Submissions

The Scientific Committee invites you to submit an abstract for one of the following types of presentation at ACOTS2019. Submissions will be reviewed by the Scientific Committee and those chosen will be notified in early April. Submissions may cover any topic relevant to the field of traumatic stress, but preference will be given to those consistent with the conference theme. These presentations will be scheduled for September 13th and 14th.
Symposia will consist of 4-6 papers plus time for questions and/or discussion on a particular theme, and should last 90 minutes in total. Symposium submissions should include: 1) an abstract for the overall symposium, and 2) the titles and presenter names of each paper (in order to facilitate matching of paper submissions to the relevant symposium).
Individual presentations of 7 minutes’ duration. Presenters will be required to describe their research study goals, methods, and results succinctly. This is the first time that ACOTS is soliciting flash talk submissions.
Papers should be of 15-20 minutes’ duration which will include time for questions. The Scientific Committee will group accepted papers into sessions.
Individual presentation in a poster format, typically including the presentation of research data. Posters will be displayed throughout the conference, with presenters expected to stand next to their poster to answer questions during the specific poster session.
